To reinforce the values of social responsibility …Students of the Faculty of Medicine share their experience at Al Nas Hospital

A day that combines knowledge, voluntary work, and humanitarian action at Al Nas Hospital

Within the framework of supporting social engagement and voluntary work, students of the Faculty of Medicine, MTI University participated in a voluntary and humanitarian day at Al Nas Hospital, in collaboration with MTI’s Medical Students Scientific Association.

This was more than just a participation; it was actual volunteering through which the students dedicated their time and efforts to organize the whole event, receive the attendees, prepare the gifts, interact with the children and their families, and contribute to made the  children’s day and put smile on their faces.

The event was held alongside the celebration of the anniversary of establishing the Pediatric Liver Transplant Unit which performed (30) successful surgeries in its first year of operation.

The events of the day were coordinated and organized by Prof. Dr. Marola Maher, Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, MTI University, Assistant Consultant at Al Nas Hospital, and Member of the Liver Transplant Team.

The event featured the remarkable attendance of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Gabr, Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, MTI University, and Consultant on the Liver Transplant Team. This turns the experience into an actual opportunity, integrating medical education, community service, and humanitarian action.

Special thanks and regards go to Prof. Dr. Mohey Eldeen Elbanna, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, MTI University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Omran. Faculty Vice Dean of Student Affairs, for their continuous support and encouragement of the students to participate in community service, Prof. Dr. Amr Abdelal, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Gabr, and Prof. Dr. Omnia Tamer, for their dedication, hard work, and cooperation in organizing this exceptional event
