MTI Central Library
MTI Central Library includes a variety of valuable references and books,
in addition to a variety of continuously updated international journals which
include articles and research papers. The library gives free access to the
university students to many digital libraries such as the Egyptian Knowledge
Bank (EKB), and other digital libraries.
The library is staffed with well-trained librarians capable of guiding
the students through the research and study process. At the beginning of every
semester, the staff holds an orientation tour for freshmen students to
illustrate the library facilities.
The Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine's Clinics
The Faculty clinics consist of (9) separate
clinics, each of which has (30) dental units, autoclaves and comprehensive
devices and tools necessary for the operation of these specialized units.
The Faculty's clinics include the following (5) Dental Units:
1.
Oral surgery, Extraction, and Dental anesthesia clinic
2.
Oral Medicine and Diagnostics clinic
3.
Prosthesis clinic
4.
Periodontology clinic
5.
Pedodontics clinic
In addition, there are four clinics located on the fourth floor of the
Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine's main campus, as follows:
1.
Operative Dentistry Clinic (Fillings/Restorations)
2.
Fixed Prosthodontics Clinic
3.
Endodontics Clinic
4.
Restorative Dentistry Clinic
The Faculty's clinics are operated by
clinical stage students (fourth- and fifth-year students) in compliance with
the credit hour system and the approved rules stated in the Faculty's
Regulations.
It is also worth mentioning that each of the
aforementioned clinics is distinguished by a different color of paint to
facilitate identification by patients.
The Faculty's clinics are annexed to two outpatient clinics, one
affiliated with each building, fully equipped with X-ray machines.
MTI Physical Therapy Services Centre
The Physical Therapy Services Centre is
profoundly convinced of the importance of treatment and rehabilitation. It is
dedicated to helping patients recover and restore their daily lives. The Center is also
committed to excellence and leadership in therapy and education.
The Center develops customized treatment
programs to meet each patient's specific needs, and also provides
state-of-the-art care in a friendly, family-oriented and often fun environment.
The Center's dedicated team of physical therapists specializes in orthopedics,
pediatrics, neurology, dermatology, and aquatic therapies.
The Center is
committed to professional continuing education to ensure the team's continued
growth. This combination of clinical expertise, commitment to patient care, and
strong community reputation, enables the Center to provide high-quality
services for both students and community. These services are available during
all therapeutic sessions for patients free of charge.
MTI Sports Complex
MTI has a
sports complex to practice a variety of sports activities on several courts
such as the futsal, handball, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.
These courts are equipped with floodlights, operating day and night for
the organization of sports activities and days, or any events to select the
university's teams that are to participate in the various games, or take part
in Ramadan's leagues, or the Egyptian Governmental, Private and civil
Universities Championships.
Medical
Center
MTI provides medical services for all MTI community members. The medical
services are run by the University doctors and nurses. They provide urgent
medical treatment and advice during University hours.
Transportations
Services
MTI assists
in transportation services for students to and from main area centers in Cairo,
where other transportation facilities are available, to provide students with
an easy access to the University campus.
MTI welcomes application from students with special needs and long-term
medical conditions. Applications are assessed on the academic bases as the rest
of their colleagues. Students with special needs are encouraged to visit MTI
before applying, to view the facilities provided by the University and assess
if their particular requirements can be met.
The Faculty
of Medicine's Outpatient Clinics and University Hospital
The University Hospital of the Faculty of
Medicine, MTI University has (175) beds, operating rooms, an intensive care
unit, and other medical departments and units, as well as the facilities and
equipment necessary for conducting all scientific, medical, and therapeutic
research.

The Hospital's outpatient clinic building consists of (22)
clinics, operating in various medical specialties.
- The building also includes several laboratories, as well as a Diagnostic Radiology Department, fully equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment to the highest quality standards.
