In an era where
technology and crime interfere, Dr. Abdel Latif and his partner Dr. Mostafa
launch "Egypt AI Core" application to be the first
Arabic system for dark-web crimes tracking.
However, as ambition
usually invokes unforeseen risks; Dr. Abdel Latif got kidnapped, at the same
moment when Zain, a technically gifted university teaching assistant wakes up
to a real nightmare; as a video was fabricated using Deep Fake technology, showing
him killing his professor, thereby turning him into a red-handed wanted
criminal in hours.
"Zain's Fingerprint"
film conveys a crucial message concerning the mixed-blessing of modern
technology, asserting how artificial intelligence and Deep Fake technologies could
be exploited as powerful means for good; tracking and fighting crimes, or a
destructive weapon; falsifying facts and defaming innocent people.
