As part of its commitment to support
sustainable technological development, and keep up with the recent trends in
the field of Medical Education, the Faculty of Medicine held a workshop on the
ways of applying Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
technologies in medical diagnoses and critical surgical interventions.
The workshop marked the notable
participation of Prof. Mohey Eldeen Elbanna, Dean of the Faculty of
Medicine alongside with a host of the Faculty's staff from the various
scientific departments.
This workshop was characterized by the
great turnout of attendees, especially as it introduced the latest software and
applications, as well as illustrating their role in elevating physicians'
skills, and raising the practical, educational, and training efficiency, in a
way that contributes to the enhancement of healthcare quality, in addition to
keeping up with the global advancements in the Medical field.
