A University Students' Breast Cancer Early Detection Raising Awareness Campaign at the Faculty of Pharmacy
As part
of its major role in the awareness raising and massive community engagement,
the Faculty of Pharmacy at Modern University for Technology and Information
(MTI) organized a remarkable raising awareness campaign, entitled: "Management
of Chronic Diseases during Ramadan."
This campaign was launched with a key objective
of raising the health awareness among the University students and the Faculty's
staff, in addition to disseminating the health culture during periods of
fasting.
The activities of the campaign were organized by the Clinical
Pharmacy Department staff members and under the auspices of:
Prof. Shohda El Maraghy – Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy§
Prof. Omneya Mahmoud Khalil – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Hala Fahmy – Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department§
Diabetes
High blood pressure
Thyroid disorders
This is in addition to providing
the University students and staff with accurate health information and guidance
in order to help them maintain their health and reduce any potential
complications during the fasting periods.
This initiative reflects the
Clinical Pharmacy Department's commitment to fulfilling its scientific and
societal roles in promoting health awareness and serving the community.
