Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Mass communication, Modern University, a delegation of faculty members, and students participated in the Egypt Media Forum, which was held over the course of the 26th and 27th of November, entitled (A World Without Media)

Where both Dr. Doaa Al-Desouki, Head of the Integrated Marketing Communications Department, Dr. Hanan Atef, Head of the New Media Department, and Dr. Mai Mahmoud, Dr. Walaa Yahya, Dr. Iman Khattab, Ms. Heba Shoukry , Ms. Maryam Khaled, and a group of students from different departments.

The forum addressed the challenges facing journalistic work, especially in light of the current crises and wars, as well as technological development and techniques used in newsrooms.

Many discussions were also held in which a group of academics and professionals participated, and the forum presented a number of different workshops aimed at increasing awareness about developments and events and refining the skills of workers in the field and students.
