It’s my
pleasure to welcome you at faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at MTI
University, offering one of the newest dental education programs. The Faculty
of Oral and Dental Medicine emerges this semester and we are midway through
implementation of our five-year dental education program. At this stage in the
College’s development, every day represents growth, change,
and a new level of excitement that is palpable from the moment you set foot on
our campus. Ultimately the student qualities will reflect our goals and values
aiming for the highest levels of dental professionalism and ethics. At the
completion of their education each student will have achieved competency of a
defined body of knowledge, a repertoire of clinical and community skills and a
set of professional values. Admitting students inclined to these Core Values
and reinforcing the values throughout their education will help them to enter
their careers exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism.
We are
all aware of the global understanding and approach to health. It is now
universally accepted that health is an outcome or state of being that results
from a complex set of environmental, population heath and individual factors.
The structure of our faculty reflects this and we have an integrated approach
to research, training and teaching to help that deliver solutions and develop a
skilled health workforce to tackle the challenges of an increasingly complex
health landscape.
